lol, my youngest son and I had a funny thing happen at the grocery store yesterday.
The check out person was a Pentecostal Lady - long skirt, hair in a bun, etc. When it came time to pay, I wrote a check. And there she is, trying to get her pen to work. It won’t and she tries another.
The second pen doesn’t write either. So she throws the pen across the store and without missing a beat says, “I hate when a pen won’t work.”
OK. lol, so I offer her mine and the rest of the conversation goes on like nothing ever happened. She doesn’t act like she is embarrassed or anything. This is just normal, everyday life for her.
Moral of the story - don’t piss off those Pentecostal ladies - they might look all meek and mild but that doesn’t mean it’s so…. Oh, and watch out for flying pens at the check-out, lol.
