I though I would share with everyone some pictures of the downed trees in our yard after Hurricane Rita.
This is the tree that went through our bedroom roof.
The tree went straight down and all the way through. Rain and debris were all over the bedroom.
The limb was so heavy that it broke the beams in the ceiling.
Thank goodness that other big tree did not fall! (we have huge trees all around the house and any one could have hit the house - but didn’t. )
I am VERY glad we were not in the house when it hit!

Luckily it did not damage the well.
Beauty after the storm!
Our Tulip Tree (kind of magnolia) decided to bloom a week after the storm. It was so pretty this year and full of blooms. I guess it had been beaten so much from the wind, it figured it better do something, lol.
