1. In the window there is one new plant. It came in a can that looked like a soda can. It’s called “the secret fortune bean.” You pop open the lid, add water and the bean sprouts. On the hard bean covering was written “adventure awaits” - gee I hope it is a fun adventure! The weird thing about it is how big this sprout is. I have no idea what kind of plant it is. Should be interesting watching it grow.

2. In my china cabinet I have 2 teapots that came from my mother. One is white with a silver bamboo pattern. The other has small red roses on it. The white one is my favorite.

3. Recently I got 3 new pillows at Walmart. They have a curved stripe pattern that reminds me of an Airline’s symbol from back in the 70’s. (can’t remember which one) I really like them.

4. In my kitchen window I have 4 glass bottles. They originally had maple syrup in them. Each one has a tree etched on it for the 4 seasons. I have them filled with colored water and it looks pretty when the sun shines through.

5. I have a high shelf in my computer room with 5 things on it - a big stuffed chicken, a basket with wooden apples, another basket that my grandmother kept her crochet projects in, a vase that was made from a tree that fell in our yard and an old Folgers coffee can. The coffee can is etched with dates and places that my DH lived in when he was little.

6. In the computer room there is a funny Far Side calendar that I just turned to the month of June (the 6th month) so I would have something to put for number 6, lol.

7. Oh cool - found a 7! There are 7 canisters in my kitchen. 4 are clear, 2 have a lemon pattern on it and one is a rooster.

8. There are 8 boxes sitting in my dining room looking for a new home. I was cleaning out the closest and had it all organized really nice. Then my son moved back in and needed the space. I have no idea where I am going to put this stuff. (probably will stuff it back into my closet.

9. (goes looking for a 9) Found it! There are 8 shoes and one pair of socks sitting out that need to be put up.

10. In the same china cabinet as the teapots, I have 10 cups and saucers that my Grandmother collected. Each one is different. She liked to use them when the church ladies came over for women’s prayer meeting.

11. In the hallway there are 2 coolers that have been sitting there for at least 11 days. Who knows when they will get put up, lol.

12. I have 12 Painted Ponies statues. They are horses that artists paint or decorate in any way they want. I only collect the ones done by Native American artists. Each pony symbolizes a different story of American Indians.

13. On my “rouges gallery” there are exactly 13 family pictures. Most of them are of the kids.
